Welcome to Ride Bikes. Eat Local.

Local Bike Trails & Food Exploration

Come explore the local bike trails and yummy food in Wisconsin.

My goal is to journal half- day adventures of getting on our country’s bike paths that are not too strenuous and visit nearby locally owned restaurants. The geographical focus will be focused in Wisconsin with the occasional out of town exploits.

I will be sharing history, hot tips and what you can expect for scenery of various trails. We’ll eat (or enjoying takeout) from local “family owned” food joints close to the bike trails. I will choose trails meant for any level mountain biker, walker, or hiker and find locales that offer good healthy options and a strong sense of community.

I’m excited to share these experiences with you and certainly hope to inspire you to get out and have them too!
